ROBIN VON PLETTENBERG

CEO / CSO

Robin von Plettenberg took on the role of CEO and CSO of H-TEC SYSTEMS in 2022. He is responsible for the areas of Strategy, Sales, Services and Marketing & Communication. As an industrial engineer with a master's degree in philosophy, he initially worked as a management consultant with a focus on the automotive and mechanical engineering industries at McKinsey in Berlin, Munich and New York. Robin von Plettenberg then held various positions at MAN Energy Solutions: Head of Strategy and M&A, Head of PrimeServ Industries, the aftersales division of the turbomachinery business, and Head of Turbomachinery.

Markus Weber, H-TEC Systems GmbH | CFO - Accounting, Controlling, Finance, IT, People und Legal

Markus Weber

CFO

Markus Weber has assumed the role of CFO in the H-TEC SYSTEMS management team since 2024. In this role, he is responsible for the areas of Accounting, Controlling, Corporate Finance, IT, Business Processes/SAP, Legal Affairs and People & Culture, among others. In the course of his more than 20-year career, Weber has held various finance management positions at well-known companies. The business administration graduate and experienced manager comes from the listed company JENOPTIK AG, where he was most recently responsible for all finance department activities in his position as Executive Vice President Controlling & Accounting. Prior to this, he was Vice President of the Industrial Division and managed the Controlling, Purchasing, Human Resources and Buildings/Real Estate departments at Würzburg-based printing press manufacturer Koenig & Bauer.

MARIUS ZASCHE

CTO

Marius Zasche is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at H-TEC SYSTEMS, where he has been responsible for innovation and development since March 2022. As a familiar face, Marius had already been a member of H-TEC's Advisory Board since 2020. The qualified industrial engineer now contributes his extensive expertise in his new position, which he acquired in various management positions at MAN Energy Solutions. He had been working here since 2008, and one of his last tasks was to set up the newly created product line components.

Dr. Dominik Heiss

EVP Strategy & Product

Dr. Dominik Heiss joined the H-TEC SYSTEMS management team in 2020. Since 2022, he is in charge of Strategy & Product as Executive Vice President. Before joining the company, he held various positions at MAN Energy Solutions SE, most recently responsible for the development and expansion of the energy storage business. The business graduate and Doctor of Philosophy started his professional career as a management consultant and got to know a variety of different industries. He has many years of experience, particularly in the areas of corporate strategy, M&A, product management and business development.

MICHAEL MEISTER

COO

Michael Meister has been Chief Operating Officer (COO) at H-TEC SYSTEMS since October 2022. In this role, he is responsible for purchasing, production stack and electrolyzer, as well as quality. Michael Meister started his professional career with McKinsey & Company at consulting. During the last seven years he held several management positions at BMW. In addition to setting up a new production plant in Mexico, he was responsible for the assembly of the BMW i3 as well as steering & control of the painted body (press shop, body shop, paint shop) at the site in Leipzig.

Sophie Kostka

EVP People & Culture

Sophie Kostka has been responsible for People & Culture as Executive Vice President at H-TEC SYSTEMS since November 2022. In addition to recruiting, her focus is primarily on the areas of corporate culture, building structures for growth, and strengthening the employer brand. Most recently, she was Head of HR Operations & Culture at the renewable energy provider Enpal, where she used her expertise to build up the People division.

Our Design and Development Teams

From idea, to prototype, to testing and ultimately serial production: Our design and development teams turn a vision into well a thought-out solution. With passion, motivation and strategic focus. Close exchange with the production on-site is especially important. At the H-TEC SYSTEMS sites for electrolysers (Augsburg site) and electrolysis stacks (Braak site), we evaluate each concept for industrial producibility at a very early stage. This strengthens our teamwork and makes our products even better.

Our Production Teams

Two production sites, one common goal: Build the best PEM stacks and electrolyzers. This is technically very demanding. Our production teams are correspondingly highly specialized and feature a cross-departmental network. For the production at the H-TEC SYSTEMS sites in Augsburg (Bavaria) and Braak near Hamburg, we create innovative technologies for green hydrogen production based on many years of experience and highly specialized know-how.  This begins with the development of the components. This is followed by the assembly process and factory acceptance of the systems on the test bench, and finally the logistics. Quality from the first component to the last detail.

Our Service Teams

To ensure that your hydrogen production with H-TEC SYSTEMS starts smoothly and runs continuously, the Project Execution & Customer Services department assumes responsibility for further strategic, organizational, administrative and technical support immediately after the contract is signed. In addition to 24/7 remote monitoring via our Technical Service Center, the well-trained service teams personally take care of the on-site maintenance work. They check, test and clean. Replace wear parts, order spare parts and install them professionally. Everything in close cooperation with the development and production teams. Always efficient and reliable. This cooperation not only creates technical synergies but also human ones.

Listening, understanding, giving answers: These are the strengths of our sales and marketing teams in the H-TEC SYSTEMS branches in Augsburg and Braak.
